A conveyor drive involving heavy-shock torsional loading is operated by an electric motor rotates at 1500 RPM. The speed ratio is 1 : 2 and the pinion has a module = 2.5 mm and number of teeth Z= 18 T and face width of b =37.5 mm. The gear has a Brinel hardness of 300 BHN. Submit the following:- a.
