Example-9 : An RCC column 450 x 450 mm is reinforced with 4 Nos. 25 mm 0 + 4 Nos.-20 mm o as longitudinal bar. The lateral ties of 6 mm 0 are Provided at 200 mm Clc. The unsupported length of column is 3.6 m. Material grades used are M-20 and Fe-415. Check this design of column for longi. & lateral ties and mini. eccentricity for column.
