All of the following statements are FALSE, in some way or other. For each
statement, provide a brief explanation WHY the
statement is false. As a guide, a maximum of two sentences is expected for each
statement. 1. Islamic capital market instruments contain little or no risk at all because as Shari'ah compliant instruments, they do not contain any elements of gharar. 2. With debt-based Islamic capital market instruments, it is unanimously agreed that all of the activities of the issuer of the instrument must be Shari'ah compliant. 3. The majority of Shari'ah scholars reject the concept of limited liability of modern day corporations because in Islam, debt is irreducible and indestructible without agreed release from the lender.
