Let U, V and W be vector spaces over the same field. a) 1 Marks Define what it means for the function L:U - V to be an isomorphism. b) 1 Mark Define what it means for the vector spaces U and V to be isomorphic. c) 8 Marks Use your definition to carefully show that if U is isomorphic to V and if V is isomorphic to W then U is isomorphic to W.
