Post by answerhappygod »

Consider an urn containing twenty identical red balls, numbered
one to twenty, and twenty identical blue balls numbered one to
twenty. Two balls are selected at random one at a time with
replacement from this urn. i) What is the probability that a red
and a blue ball are selected with the number one on each of them?
ii) What is the probability that the balls have same numbers or
same color on them?
