A constant-head experiment (figure below) was conducted on a cylindrical column packed with a soil. The diameter of the column is 10 cm. The column length is L=50 cm. The outflow rate Qout =100 cm/sec was measured downstream. Water level from the upstream tank to the bottom of the soil column is 2.2 m. Water level difference between the upstream tank and downstream tank is 1.5 cm. Water has specific weight of 9810 N/m' and dynamic viscosity of 0.0015 N.s/m² Given this setup, estimate the intrinsic permeability of the soil (m²). 1.5 m 2.2 m Qout L soil datum
