Watch the first video below and answer the questions. In your industry/job, give me 2-3 examples of the "pickle." For example, hotels usually give 1 or 2 bottles of water for free to the guests and then charge for additional waters. Water bottles would be an example of a "pickle." If a guest came back to the front desk to ask for more water you could charge them, or you could just give it to them for free as you're already giving it away for free some of the time.
Are there any issues with this train of thought in service?
