Leadership styles in business can be organized into five
categories: autocratic,
dernocratic, laissez-faire, transactional and transformational.
Each af these ieadership
styies has its benefits and its drawbacks, and each is more
effective in certain
workplace types than others. Sonretimes, the rnost effective
leadership style for a
workplace depends on the mix of employee personalities present or
the mix of
experience levels in the workplace.
TASK:
ldentify five leaders in your workplace or university who would fit
the above
leadership styles. Write a short report that covers the
characteristics of the leaders and
why you think they fit the identified styie of ieadership. Justify
using examples.
