Mediation: Is a process without the need of resorting to courts. It is a voluntary. structured, and interactive process of negation overseen by a neutral third party called mediator. This person is chosen through contracts and there are no qualifications but usually this position is taken by a retired judge or lawyer. Conciliation: This is a process whereby the parties to dispute uses a conciliator who meets with the parties separately in order to resolve their differences. It is a voluntary proceeding, where the parties involved are free to agree and attempt to resolve their dispute by conciliation.
