residents, offering support and assistance to meet residents’
needs, and receiving and handling complaints about service
delivery. Julian subscribes to email updates from the Australian
Aged Care Quality Agency (AACQA). He receives a notification
alerting aged care service providers to a new client communications
standard that must be met on renewal of accreditation. Julian’s
workplace is due to renew its accreditation in three months’
time.
