The goal in testing a sample with a suspected warm autoantibody is to determine whether an underlying alloantibody exists. Elution method is often helpful to identify the specificity of the igg that is attached to red cells when the direct anti-globulin test (DAT) is positive. The product of elution method is called eluate. Based on the above, answer the following questions.
