The research report showed the percentage of adults who smoked
was 0.3. The research team wants to see if the percentage of adult
smokers who wanted to take MRT was higher than the average level.
So, 8 adult people were randomly selected in front of the MRT
station. Whether smoke or not, let X represent the numbers of
smokers among the 8 people
a. Write the null and alternative hypothesis
b. Assuming this research team is composed of 3 students and
each of them have different decision-making
student 1: No matter X, always accept the null hypothesis
student 2: 0<=x<=3, accept the null hypothesis
student 3: No matter X, never accept the null hypothesis.
Find the probability of type I and ii for (a)-(I)
