Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis revealed increased white blood cells (WBC) with lymphocyte predominance and antibodies against West Nile Virus. Gram stain was negative. His condition worsened with development of left-sided weakness and deterioration of mental status requiring intensive care.
