Mrs. Coffey is a 77-year-old female who is a resident on the memory care wing of your facility due to Alzheimer's Disease. She also has a PEG tube for dysphagia but is on a pureed diet with nectar thick liquids with no straws when she is awake and has an order for nocturnal tube feeds to ensure she is getting adequate nutrition. Mrs. Coffey's family comes to visit her on the weekends. They bring her treats in when they visit, even though they have been educated not to do so unless approved by nursing staff.
