2) For a sample of silicon, Si, who's bandgap is 1.14eV, calculate the probability of finding a free hole 0.5eV below the Fermi energy level. For a dopant level of 1.5 x 105 cm', recalculate the probability of finding a free hole AND suggest an element that could be used as a dopant in this case. Hint: Calculate the (E,-E) number and then the F(E) value for the second part!
