Part 1: Your final table with your 30 entries in it (30 points): Detailed instructions: • Each perspective should have at least THREE (3) entries (preferably more). (Don't be afraid to move some entries now that you have a better understanding of the different perspectives!) All entries should be in black (please remove any color or italics or bold). • Each entry should include a psychological term, concept, principle, or theory (a word or phrase) followed by the textbook module it is from, and then a description of the term AND your justification of why you logged it under that perspective. This description and justification should be detailed but also concise. Make sure to edit your entries for clarity, and remove unnecessary or redundant words. You should have: 3 entries from Week 3: Biology of Behavior (modules 3-5) 3 entries from Week 4: Stress, Health, and Happiness (modules 33-34) 3 entries from Week 5: Learning (modules 19-21) 3 entries from Week 6: Thinking and Social Influence (modules 25, 35-36) - 3 entries from Week 7: Consciousness and Memory (modules 7,22-24) 3 entries from Week 8: Lifespan Development and Gender (modules 10-11.14) 3 entries from Week 9: Psychological Disorders (modules 40-43) 3 entries from Week 10: Therapy (modules 44-46) a3 entries from Week 10: Personality (Table 39.2 in module 39) 3 entries from Week 11: Motivation (module 29): IMPORTANT! You will need to add these 3 entries to your final paper, as they weren't covered on a previous round. Holistic instructions: . Please make sure you've read my feedback on past submissions. Go back and check to see which weeks I provided you with feedback and use this feedback to update your submissions. Also, please note that I didn't give you feedback on all your entries! I just periodically made sure you were on the right track. SO before you submit your final document, go back and edit ALL your entries for clarity and accuracy. Holistic instructions: . Please make sure you've read my feedback on past submissions, Go back and check to see which weeks I provided you with feedback and use this feedback to update your submissions. Also, please note that I didn't give you feedback on all your entries! I just periodically made sure you were on the right track. SO before you submit your final document, go back and edit ALL your entries for clarity and accuracy. You are at the end of the quarter now and have learned so much more about these 6 perspectives than you knew at the beginning of the quarter. So you might decide that a particular entry is better suited under a different perspective. Or you might decide that you need to update some of your justifications. Use your knowledge gained to edit and adjust your entries accordingly. • Make sure descriptions are in your OWN words and that your entries would make sense to another student reading them. • Note that I will holistically grade each perspective for accuracy and understanding. Does the student have a good understanding of the biological perspective based on their entries? Etc. Each perspective is worth 5 points (total -30 points). See grading rubric for details, Part 1 shouldn't take too much time if you had previously submitted your 30 entries (ie. a couple hours to make sure you've gone over my feedback and updated your entries based on my feedback and your evolving understanding). Part 2: Your reflection (10 points): Part 2 is the NEW part of this assignment. Remember that it should be submitted as a post to the discussion forum. In 450-650 words, please discuss the following 2 bullet points: • What was your favorite entry from each perspective and WHY was it your favorite? (1-2 sentences per perspectivel. These should be entries that you think were a GREAT fit for that perspective, and entries that you thought were really creative, that you thought highlighted a cool concept, that helped you better understand the perspective, etc. Please DO NOT just copy and paste your entry here. Instead, list the term (ex. brain plasticity) and then explain why you chose it as your favorite. (Recommended 200-300 words, please include word count). • WHY is it important to understand these different perspectives in psychology? And how did your understanding of these perspectives evalve over the course of the quarter? What perspectives did you find more intuitive (easier to understand and find examples for) than others? How did this change over the quarter? Which perspectives resonated with you more than others? Discuss frustrations as well as insights (e. aha moments, realizations. etc.). I want to understand where you started and ended in this assignment, what you found confusing, and what helped you gain understanding (Recommended 300-350 words, please include word count).
