Please pre-read p. 158, 168-169 in your prescribed textbook. Zandile sees her 5-year-old son, Khaya talking aloud to himself while he plays. Zandile wonders whether or not she should discourage the behaviour. Compare and draw conclusions using Piaget's theory and Vygotsky's theory to make sense of why Khaya talks to himself.
