During specimen processing, a phlebotomist loads the centrifuge
with specimens, closes the lid, and starts the centrifuge. The
centrifuge makes a strange noise and vibrates more than usual. This
is followed by the sound of glass breaking. What do you think is
wrong? What should the phlebotomist do?
