Eric is a 10-year-old boy, with two siblings, Ella (6 years old) and David (8 years old). Eric has been on chemotherapy for 2 years and it is apparent that his brain tumour has become aggressive and metastasised to most vital organs of the body. He has been placed in palliative care. His parents, siblings, and grandparents are stressed about this. Eric is currently being cared for in his grandparents' house, where he was born, as per his wish. As a member of the paediatric palliative care team in the community,
