it takes 4.3 years for light to travel from alpha centauri to earth. You jump into the family spaceship and zip off to Alpha Centauri. According to your watch on the spaceship, it takes 3 years for you to get there. According to your parents’ stationary clock back on earth, it takes 5 years for you to get there. How fast were you traveling?
