journey the rocket moves under the influence of gravity alone. The
vertical component of the rocket's velocity at the start of this

(i) Calculate the maximum height reached by the rocket. (ii) The
rocket's trajectory continues until it hits the ground. Sketch a
rough graph showing the rocket's kinetic energy against time, from
the moment at which the engine cuts out until the rocket hits the
