Conservationists are translocating 250 fish (taken at random)
from a lake to a smaller pond that has recently been restored after
a chemical spill, to repopulate the pond.
The conservationists assume that the pond is ecologically
similar to the lake after the restoration. If this is so, which
micro-evolutionary process will probably have the greatest impact
on allele and genotypic frequencies in the pond population
(assuming the pond is completely isolated from the lake).
(a) Migration
(b) Assortative mating
(c) Random genetic drift
(d) Mutation
(e) Selection
(f) Inbreeding
