Behavior of Soap Solution Upon Addition of Acid (vinegar) a) Obtain a clean test tube and put enough soap solution (soap and water) to fill the bottom half inch or so. b) Shake vigorously to create lots of soapy foam. c) Add vinegar (a dilute aqueous solution of acetic acid) dropwise. d) Record observations of changes in the foamy soap solution as acid is added.
