7. (a) In the figure below, two horizontal springs have the same length but different spring constant, * = 6000 N/m and k₂= 7500 N/m, are attached to a block of mass 0.30 kg. m 00000 (i) Calculate the linear frequency of oscillation on the frictionless floor after the block is displaced for some distance to the right side and released. [3 marks] (ii) Solve the maximum kinetic energy of the block while making a simple harmonic motion if the block is initially displaced horizontally to the right side by 0.10 m. [2 marks]
