Eventually, the contact is reestablished and the airplane flew 25 km at an angle 15° west of north until it reached its final destination (which was located 60 km at an angle 50° with respect to the initial position). Assuming that all displacements were straight lines: a) find the x and y components of the displacement vector during the time contact was lost. b) How much distance did it travel travel during this time? 1
