An infinitely long wire carrying the current I lies in the same plane as a single-turn rectangular coil. The long side of the rectangle is L=8 cm and is parallel to the current I (represented by the horizontal dotted line below the rectangular coil). The short side is w=5 cm. The distance from the wire to the closest side of the coil is 3 cm. The current I decreases at a rate of 40mA/s starting from 4A. a) Find the induced emf in the rectangular coil. Enter in the answer the box below; b) state the direction of the induced current in the rectangular coil: clockwise or counter clockwise.
