Cyclohexane (C6H12) can be made by the reaction of benzene (C6H6) with hydrogen (H₂) according to the following reaction: C₂H₂ + 3H₂ → C6H₁2 All the cyclohexane produced is separated from the unreacted gases, which is recycled. Determine the composition of the product stream and the ratio of the recycle stream to the fresh feed if the overall conversion of benzene is 95%, and the single-pass conversion is 20%. Assume that 20% excess hydrogen is used in the fresh feed, and that the composition of the recycle stream is 77.26 mole% hydrogen. You may take 100 mole/h of benzene in the feed as the basis of calculation.
