You are required to design a wastewater collection system at Siyabuswa. Then, prepare a design report which, among others, should contain or answer the following questions: 1. What are the technical and socioeconomic design requirements that you must take into consideration? 2. A proper planning & design criteria schedule used must, indicate all relevant design criteria used and the sources of such criteria must be fully referenced 3. All appropriate computer output prints must be included in your report as annexure, clearly indicating software used and all information clearly marked and indexed where necessary. Consider the following assumptions: (i) The design must allow for stormwater and design calculations. (ii) Layout plans must indicate: Pipe sizes used and Manholes etc. (iii) Conduct a full design of the network, considering the given information in Table 1, which includes pipes lengths and flows through manholes. With these pipe flows, the sewer is expected to run partially full. The minimum sewer pipe size available is 200 mm and all the other sizes are in increment of 100 mm. Consider the following assumptions: - The sewer is running partially full. - Minimum pipe cover is 1.25 - Minimum and maximum velocities in the pipes are as given in the Red book. - Sewer pipe material is concrete with Manning's Coefficient, n = 0.0125.
