Exercise 6.6 [2.097 [Hz]] The cylindrical casing of a dynamometer is mounted on a trunnion and has torque arms as shown in the diagram below. One arm carries a mass of 60 [kg] concentrated at the end of the arm, whilst the other arm is supported on a spring of stiffness 10 [kN/m]. The casing and torque arms have a total mass of 400 [kg] and the radius of gyration about the trunnion axis is 150 [mm]. Neglecting friction and damping effects, determine the natural frequency of angular oscillations of the casing. 300 [mm] 500 [mm]
