The flywheel depicted below has a rim outside diameter of 750mm and its cross section of 100mm square. The hub is a hollow cylinder of 200mm outside diameter, 100mm bore and is 150mm long. The six spokes of the flywheel, each of cross section 30-cm², are equally spaced about the flywheel's axis of rotation and can be considered to be slender bars. The flywheel is made of cast iron of density 7.2x10³-kg/m³. Calculate the mass moment of inertia and the radius of gyration of the flywheel about its axis of rotation.
