2. Calculate the structure factors for silicon (Si) and gallium arsenide (GaAs). Compare the permission "reflections" and intensities for these two structures for N=1 - 30 where N=h² + k +12. How many lines would you observe in a powder pattern from these materials in the range 0 = 0 - 50° using Cu Ka radiation (2 = 1.54188).
