Q4. [20 marks] An (15-0.X) kVA, 110/440, 60 Hz, two winding transformer has low voltage side resistance of (0.07+0.0X) 2 and high voltage side resistance of (0.03+0.0Y) 2. a. Calculate its efficiency at full load for a power factor of 0.9. (7 marks) b. If the transformer is connected as a step-down 550/440-V autotransformer with the same load connected as in part (a), determine the efficiency. (7 marks) C. Draw the transformer configuration for both part (a) and (b). Also comment on the efficiency in both cases. (6 marks)
