The following data are given: E = 24 V; average output voltage (Vo)avg = 15 V; lo = 1.8 A; transistor switching frequency = 50 kHz; wires stray inductance I µH, and the allowable voltage overshoot across the transistor Vos 12 V. Assuming ideal devices: (a) calculate the values of snubber capacitor and resistor; (b) find the capacitor peak discharge current through the transistor.
