Due to their ubiquity and need, databases are accessed by many
users and in a concurrent fashion across the enterprise. Through
our readings, we know that transaction logs help maintain
concurrency in a multiuser platform. Present at least two business
scenarios where COMMIT and ROLLBACK would be required. How are
these functions essential for business continuity and concurrency
control and do they enable an organization to recover from a
database corruption event?
