In this module, you have read about when a contract is required
to be in writing. Additionally, you have learned that once a
writing of a contract is made, there are limited circumstances in
which outside oral evidence will be allowed to explain the
contract.
Using what you have learned in this module, please answer each

On Cindy’s 21st birthday, her parents planned a large party for
her. As part of the festivities, they hired a band, ordered $600
worth of vases for decorations, hired a company to set up tables
and chairs, ordered $400 worth of balloons, and as a present to
their daughter, gave her a small house to live in. For each of the
contracts listed below, identify whether or not the contract needs
to be in writing under the Statute of Frauds. Provide detailed
rationale for your decision. You will receive three (3) points for
addressing each of the contracts listed below, for a total of 15
points for this section.
