Youth Unemployment has remained one of the biggest challenges in
Zambia. Official figures from the 7 NDP show that the Youth
Unemployment rate is currently above 10.5 percent, which is higher
than the National average unemployment rate of 7.4 percent. You as
a student of Entrepreneurship at NIPA, the Minister of Small and
Medium Enterprises has appointed you to make workable practical
recommendations to the Minister on how Youth Unemployment can be
reduced through entrepreneurship, taking into account that the
youths need to form Co-operatives in order to access CDF funds for
entrepreneurship development. Recommend to the Minister the
most appropriate and effective way the Entrepreneurship Development
among the Youths, can be implemented in order to reduce youth
unemployment significantly in Zambia. (20 marks).
