Consider the thrust and the propellant mass flow rate to be constant. [3 marks] (b) Derive the equation for the maximal altitude that can be achieved by a one-stage sounding rocket in terms of mass ratio, specific impulse, the propellant mass flow rate and the initial rocket mass. Consider the same assumptions as in Q2(a). [3 marks]
