An insulated, vertical piston-cylinder device connected to an air supply line as shown in the figure. Initially, the air inside the cylinder is at atmospheric pressure of 1 bar, 300 K, and a volume V₁ = 0.03534 m³. The pressure of the air in the supply line is 8 bar and temperature is Tsupp.. The valve is then opened, and the air from the supply line flows into the cylinder until the volume has doubled and temperature reaches 380 K. The weight of the piston and the friction between the piston and the cylinder wall can be ignored. Determine: (a) the temperature of the air in the supply line (Tsupp).
