A diving watch must be immersed in seawater from a diving
vessel. Three divers and various equipment
is in the clock. The diving watch can be modeled as a closed steel

Mass for each diver w / personal equipment: 100 kg

a) Find weight in air and weight in water for the diving watch with
divers and equipment under condition
that it is gas-filled.
b) Estimate hydrodynamic mass (“Added mass”) and total dynamic mass
for the diving watch.
(Same conditions as for point a).
c) The diving bell is exposed to a horizontal current of 20 cm / s
at the relevant water depth. Calculate
"Traction" (flow resistance) this will give on the diving
watch.
