A) Calculate the pH of 0.325M hydrobromous acid, HBrO. Ka = 2.5
x 10^ -9.
B) Calculate the pH for a lithium hypobromite, LiBrO, solution
prepared by adding 10.3g of the salt to water with a resulting
volume of 300mL. (Molar Mass = 102.9 g/mol)
C) Calculate the pH for a 300mL solution of 0.325M hydrobromous
acid solution to which 10.3g of lithium hypobromite has been added.
(Assume no volume change.)
D) Calculate the pH after 10.0 mL of 0.200M potassium hydroxide
is added to the solution prepared in part C.
