Consider the case of a unidirectional boron/epoxy lamina. The
elastic moduli are:
E1 = 204 GPa, E2 = 18.5 GPa, V12 = 0.23 and G12 = 5.59 GPa.
From the elastic moduli given in the previous question,
calculate the following moduli for an angle π = 60β:
(i) The off-axis modulus of elasticity, Ex.
(ii) The shear coupling coefficient, ππ₯,π₯π¦.
(iii) The shear modulus, πΊπ₯π¦.
