DIET & EXERCISE JOURNAL PROJECT Grading-50 pts. Includes grammar, spelling, and formatting. I will not consider factors such as what you ate or how much you exercised into your grade. I will not accept late work. Submit finished paper to the drop box under the "Diet & Exercise Journal Submission" link on Blackboard. SECTION 1-Title Page (5 pts) Include the title of your project, your name, the date, and the class. SECTION 2- The Diet and Exercise Executive Summary (20 pts) Do not include any info from the title page. Write a paper describing what you learned doing this project about yout eating and exercising habits, how you felt about your habits, whether you plan to make any changes in these habits, and any other relevant information. Research how many calories you would eat to maintain your current weight by calculating your Estimated Energy Requirement (EER) and compare that number with the average calories you actually ate every day, minus the average calories you burnt through exercise. You should not change any behavior just for this project. Explain how you did your project by describing what software or websites you used to log your calories and exercise, and your procedure for logging your meals. In summary: Habits, feelings, plans, calories eaten, calories to maintain & lose, calories burnt, resources, logging. Format for Section 2: 2% pages. 1" margins, double-spaced, 10-12 pt common font (Times New Roman, Arial, etc.).
