Paramedics are transporting a 54-year-old male with an
ST-elevated myocardial infarction (STEMI). The man is scheduled for
a primary percutaneous coronary intervention (pPCI) upon arrival at
the hospital. Having already been given aspirin and ticagrelor, the
accepting interventional cardiologist requests an IV delivery of a
heparin.
