A uniform rod (AB) of mass 4 kg and length 6m is connected vertical wall AC using a hinge at A. An additional small object of mass 2 kg is attached to the rod 4 m from A. Initially the rod is held horizontally using the cable BC. Determine the tension of the cable. Now cable is cut and the rod rotates around A. Determine its initial angular acceleration. What is the angular speed of the rod when it becomes vertical? Now the rod is allowed to oscillates about an axis through A. Determine period of oscillations. (AB=6m, AC=4m)
