A Butterworth LPF has been designed such that its cutoff frequency is 2Hz. What will be the magnitude of the filter response at a frequency of twice the cutoff frequency?
A Butterworth filter of cut-off frequency 10rad/s has been designed to ensure Ĝg > -20 dB at w=31.55 rad/s. Upon implementing the filter using a resistor inductor topology the filter is found to be implementable. The reason is that the hardware components do allow the filter to be implemented. What is the minimum order of this filter?
A Butterworth filter has been designed to ensure Ĝg > -20 dB at w=20 rad/s. Upon implementing the filter using a resistor inductor topology the filter can not be implemented. The reason is that one of the hardware components only allows a filter order of 2.3<n<3.3, wc = 11 rad/s. What is the transfer function of the filter that will allow the filter to be implemented for all the design criteria? =
