Archeological students at Hamline University measured strontium
in enamel from extracted wisdom teeth donated by ancient
mummies. They decided to measure the concentration of Sr in
the teeth by atomic absorption spectroscopy. Solutions were
prepared with a constant total volume of 10.0 ml containing .750 mg
of dissolved tooth enamel plus variable concentrations of added
Sr. Below you will see a graph of collected data.
