4i. An ostrich weighs about 120 kg when alive. Its wing is
38 cm long and 30 cm wide at the base. Assuming the wing to
be a right triangle, compute the wing-loading (kg per square cm of
wing surface) of an ostrich. (Remember it has two wings.)
Compare this with a stork, which is a moderately large, walking,
flighted bird, which may weigh as much as 5 kg. Its wing
measures 86 cm long by 30 cm wide at the base.

What is the wing loading of an ostrich (kg/cm2)

What is the wing loading of a stork (kg/cm2)

If the ostrich needs the same wing loading as the stork to
fly, how long would its wings need to be (assume that the width of
the wing is 30 cm)?
