A metal bar of mass m = 0.067 kg and length L = 1.10 m is
suspended from two light metal wires, as shown in the figure below.
A uniform magnetic field of magnitude B = 0.32 T points due
east. The bar is suspended along the north-south
direction. The wires make an angle 25° with the
vertical. In what direction should the current flow along the
bar (north or south) and how much current needs to flow in order
for the bar to be suspended in static equilibrium?
