9. Graduation was great and high school was now in the rear view mirror. Demia was looking forward to leaving on the long awaited vacation, and awoke to the perfect clear sunny morning as a free high school graduate. After preparing the coffee maker and brewing a hot cup of coffee, Demia was concerned that it would be too hot to drink at 204 degrees Farenheit. Bo-bo did not want a burnt tongue, but knew just what to do. Newton's Law of cooling could be used to determine how long to wait for the coffee to reach the optimum 174 degrees Farenheit which was indicated on a popular coffee website. Knowing the room temperature to be 69 degrees Farenheit (according to the thermostat setting), bo-bo setup the exponential function, used Desmos graphing calculator and found the wait time to be minutes. Assume the constant of proportionality is 0.075/minute.
