A series reaction is given by the following chemical
equation:
𝐴→𝑅→𝑆
The rate constant of A forming R is 0.05/min, and is the same as
R forms S. According to measurements, the ratio between the initial
concentrations R and A was 1/8, and the concentration of A, when
the concentration of R is at maximum, is 0.612 M. Find the maximum
concentration of R, and the time it took to reach that value.
